This interior design commission reimagines coastal living through an architectural lens—where light, texture, and spatial flow converge to cultivate a calm and grounded experience. Set within La Vista Ras El Hikma on Egypt’s North Coast, the project embraces natural tactility and elemental warmth to create a retreat anchored in sensory presence. The scope involved full spatial planning, material curation, custom furniture selection, and styling. Exposed wooden beams animate the ceiling with rhythm, while handwoven pendants and sandy-toned finishes soften and diffuse the coastal light. The palette was intentionally restrained to allow texture and shadow to define the space. Open shelving and curated accessories punctuate the interior with moments of quiet narrative, while the layout supports fluid circulation and visual continuity. Every decision—from joinery detailing to lighting temperature—was calibrated to evoke stillness and intimacy, making this interior a spatial ritual in itself.
